Schematic and Layout Views

Summary:

This video shows the interaction of the schematic and schematic layout views.  Microwave Office is unique in that a circuit has two
different views - the schematic and the layout.  They are two views of the same circuit.  It is important to understand how
the two views interact with one another to use MWO to its full capabilities.

Specific topics discussed are:

• Simple manipulations: connectivity, resizing.
• Snapping options in schematic layout.
• Faces options in layout.
• Differential Layout and master/slaving layout objects.
• iCells, especially the MTrace2 element.
• Layout and sub-circuits.
